LOATHE //
Loathe is one of my friends’ and I’s favorite bands that we’ve been lucky to see live a handful of times. I’m also lucky that my friends are tattooers and are incredibly gifted at networking. Because of that, they’ve made friends with and tattooed Loathe’s bassist, Feisal, the last few years they’ve come to Salt Lake City.
I threw my friends the idea of shooting Loathe’s upcoming May show on film, and found out that Feisal’s actually a film photographer himself, and even develops his own film on the road while they’re on tour. So he got me a photo pass, no questions asked.
A great set and two rolls of CineStill 800T later, we linked up with Feisal and left for my apartment to develop and scan the film before the headliners were even done playing.
These images were developed by Feisal in my kitchen sink and self-scanned in my basement (the same as all my other analog photographs).
